About Jayme Holcombe
"I moved 13 times before graduating high school in 1998 from a small high school in North Georgia. We were transferred a lot with my dads job at the time. Since then, I've moved 8 additional times, living in a total of 7 states spanning from Georgia to Connecticut, and later Colorado. I attended Young Harris College on a Tennis Scholarship and graduated in 2000 with an Associates of Allied Health. In 2003, I graduated from North Georgia College & State University with a Bachelors in Biology and Pre-Med degree. I spent three years between my undergrad degree and my grad degree working for a Clinical Research Organization as a Project Manager in prep for DPT school. In 2009, I graduated with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia. Following my DPT graduation, I received my Certified Vestibular Specialty from Emory University through the APTA program. My first job was in Colorado Springs for a small home health company with a fantastic new grad training program. Since then, I have gained experience working in adult/pediatric home health, outpatient, acute care with ICU/trauma, inpatient short-term rehab, and retirement facilities. I have had experience within each of these settings in management and in overall operations, leading me to have the inspiration, motivation and passion to pursue ownership in my own venture with an FTS franchise. Outside of my professional career, I love spending time hiking, biking, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing....anything to enjoy the beautiful mountains of Colorado. My husband and I have been married for 9 wonderful years. We have two fun kids and a golden doodle dog."
(Q) How long have you been in the Therapy profession?
"I have been a Doctor of Physical Therapy since 2009, equaling a total of 9 years as a professional clinician. I've been in management roles for 8 of the 9 years, while treating simultaneously."
(Q) Why did you decide to franchise with Foreman Therapy Services?
"I researched companies and other opportunities to pursue, as I have a passion for excelling in my profession. I have always wanted to give back to society in a more meaningful way, with a larger impact. I met the FTS crew at a APTA event in 2017 and immediately fell in love with their approach to home health care and the profession itself. I was amazed by their technology, setting the company and opportunity apart from all others. Purchasing an FTS franchise made the most sense for myself and my family."
(Q) What about FTS got your attention?
"The cultural fit of embracing technology, allowing therapists to hold themselves accountable for their own success, and the social approach to enjoying this profession and feeding off of one another as a team."
(Q) What are your goals with your FTS Franchise?
My goal is to inspire and motivate the state of Colorado to provide better quality therapy services and to provide the most loyal employee experience possible, from all four corners of this gorgeous state.
(Q) How is your FTS Franchise progressing since you started?
"Each time I have had the opportunity to explain what kind of business this is to someone new, I find even more passion and excitement within the experience itself. Once the franchise was announced formally, an immediate influx of therapists with interest to work with such a great company, flooded my email and phone. I already have companies interested in contracts and we haven't fully launched as of yet!"
(Q) What advice would you give someone considering Franchising with FTS?
"Do it!!! Don't hesitate or get overwhelmed. Nate Foreman is the reason I am so comfortable with this purchase. He and his support team are truly amazing. This is a business model that will thrive in any state. The best part of being a business owner with FTS is the team work and team feel among other owners in the nation. The 'owners club' really allows you to bounce ideas off of one another and provide support to each other through the experience."
(Q) Anything else you’d like to add?
"If you are considering the purchase of an FTS franchise, remember that it is an investment in yourself and your dreams." "You don't have to see the whole staircase, just to take the first step." - Martin Luther King, Jr
